The software that controls the machine and converts G-code into pulses that are sent to the electronics. Examples Mach3 and EMC2.

I'm hoping to get some input here on the pinouts to expect on the Kickstarter box. I'm going through the Mach3 manual now and I'm at the point where I need to set the motor outputs and input signals. It looks like I have to find a way to bypass the Emergency stop for now to try and configure everything else.

First question is is there a way to go through the Kickstarter electronics with a E-stop button? I'd rather add some connectors on the existing case instead of tying into the cabling, this also would be the way to go for adding limit switches.

Secondly is the pinout for the motors Default configuration for Mach3 seems to be as follows

X Axis - Step pin #2 - Dir Pin #6
Y Axis - Step pin #3 - Dir Pin #7
Z Axis - Step pin #4 - Dir Pin #8

and the E-Stop is pin 10

any help would be appreciated. hope fully I can help get together a setup guide for Mach3 and the QuickCut CNC
