thread size for nema mount

What is the thread size for the nema mount at the top of the z-axis assy? One of the screws won't thread, it seems the large screw that holds the top to the back has interfered with the tapped hole. Stripped the screw trying to mount a motor. Gonna have to chase that hole. Smallest tap I have is 1/4-28 and it's clearly smaller than that. What is the thread spec for this hole? I'd like to just buy the one tap I need.
