I have the complete CNC Building Blocks kit with motors and the controller board.
I was doing some security considerations before I start mounting anything and was thinking maybe I should add some endstops to all the axes. However, I'm a little bit unsure how this could be done since the Controller Box doesn't have any inputs except the LPT Interface.
Which options would be the best?
1) Connect the endstops to the computer that is controlling the CNC and let the sw stop the motors?
2) Connect the endstops directly to some of the wires to the motors to cut the power or something
3) Ignore adding endstops because the motors has some kind of protection mechanism against burnout (do they?)
4) Other suggestions?
