It’s been a while since we have posted an update. A lot of work has been going on behind the scenes to make improvements to the design, test parts and develop manufacturing methods. We are finally at the point where we have a design that we are happy with and can ramp things up into mass production. At this point it’s just a matter of putting together all the pieces! And it will be our goal to have a finished machine to show off in the next few days. (Funding ends in less than 6 days!)

Here are a few pictures of the gantry we are working on. Everything has been coming out great so far! Check out the pictures below.





We have the gantry arms with stamped nuts pressed into the recesses for strength.



Then the shaft / bearing holder are added.



Everything is secured and the bearing goes into place. This should be a great method for the gantry, and it’s definitely turning out great!
