Just a very quick update. We are working our butts off to have a fully working production prototype model done today. Our funding ends tomorrow, so I hope to have this to show you guys before everything ends.

First of all, we have completed a Z-Axis.. sort of. The top mold is not ready so the top to this Z-axis is not what will be used in the end. There are also a few components (bearing & motor coupler) that are being used that will differ slightly from the final version.

Secondly, the electronics are not setup right, so its moving a little slow. Understand that normal speed for the Z-axis is usually around 10 inches per minute (ipm). Without being properly setup in the software, I would guess this was around 12.5 ipm. Just a little more tinkering and it will be setup right. Check out the video! We are very excited. Now.... back to work!
