Replacing Chinese Driver Board

Hi, this is my first post.

I am about to buy the control kit and wondered how you are doing .
I have had a chinese TB controler with the same motors as yours and had nothing but problems , it sounds as if you had your original set up as mine.
Its a refreshing change to see someting as well thought out and documented as these projects with exellent support.
I am nervous about purchasing a new controller without talking to some kind of like minded end users .
The new controller looks like it may be the answer to people who have had the chinese boards.

Our new controllers are working great.

They may not be a direct upgrade from the Chinese boards however... these are unipolar controllers. They run 5, 6 or 8 wire motors. Most chinese controllers run bipolar motors only (most 6 and 8 wire motors can be wired to run bipolar.)

Do you have the red chinese controller, or the blue chinese controller? Those are the most common.
